Apparently, Neelima is working on the script right now, and getting the storyline in place. According to her, the USP of the film is its "unique concept" – a comedy of errors, with technical complexities and character circles.
"The movie will include wonderful music and lot of dance - which the audience will surely enjoy," says the to-be director. The pre-production will begin next month, and is slated to go on floor by the end of the year.
And, of course, she will act in it as well. "I will be playing a fascinating character, and I think that role perfectly suits me," she reveals. The obvious question is this – will her son, Shahid, be a part of the movie?
Neelima says, rather diplomatically, "We are talking to a lot of actors, but nothing is finalized right now. And as far as Shahid is concerned, let that be a happy surprise."
Neelima will direct this film in collaboration with Gurudev Films, a production house. Apart from this project, she plans to take up a couple of acting assignments. She will also be part of music and dance concerts with singers like Ustad Raza Ali Khan, but maintains that this film is her first priority.
